Cold Front Arrives

After several nice days in the 70′s, we were reminded that just because we past the Spring Equinox doesn’t mean warm weather! The first line of storms came through about 9AM on 3/23. Outside temperatures were about 76 degrees F. Here’s a picture of the southern edge of the front as it passed to the north of us.

Storm FrontThe next line came through about 3PM. We measured wind speeds at around 22 MPH and we estimate that there were gusts up to 30 MPH. Once that line came through, things stayed windy and the temperature was still in the 70′s.

The air was rather clear and we had a spectacular sunset!

Sunset After StormThis morning, the cold front made its presence known! We awoke to temperatures hovering around 36 degrees F. Time to turn the heat back on!
