I hope that it's a quality product. My old range is a Kitchen Aid that lasted for 15 unbelievable years and I paid $1200 for it in 1994. I understand that KitchenAid has fallen out of favor now due to the many,many consumer complaints on their appliances. Some even catching fire! Scary. Whirlpool owns KitchenAid so...a little worried about quality. Anyway, could not find anyone who bought that model except you...after 3 days of looking. The newer model GFE461 is in play as well as the GFE471. Wish there were tons of consumers out there to defend these appliances. I am looking at the Whirlpool Gold model you purchased.
