It took a bit over three hours to stake each corner of the house that will need to be excavated. We also marked retaining walls and walk-out locations.

Today John and I will be laying out the lot lines for the house. This is the first “real” thing to get us closer to the Big Dig. Right now, excavation is scheduled to begin the week of May 11, 2009.

Weather is forecasted to be 85-deg F and sunny. Right now there is a light breeze blowing and I hope it keeps up throughout the afternoon.
